Flat Pack Rescue Website Rebuild
From a DIY Website to a Professional Online Presence
When Matt from Flat Pack Rescue first approached us, he already had a website that he had built himself using GoDaddy. To be fair to Matt, he had done a great job creating something that represented his business and gave customers a way to find him online.
However, as Flat Pack Rescue continued to grow, invest in new branding and build an outstanding reputation across West Sussex, the website no longer reflected the quality of service customers receive. Matt wanted something more professional, easier to navigate, fully mobile-friendly and designed to showcase both his services and his personality.
Before any work began, we carried out one of our free website reviews. We provided a full and honest assessment of the existing website, highlighting what was working well, where improvements could be made, and the options available moving forward. This is a service we offer completely free of charge to businesses looking for guidance on their current website.

Understanding the Business
Flat Pack Rescue provides professional furniture assembly services across Yapton, West Sussex and the surrounding areas.
From wardrobes and bedroom furniture through to office installations, garden furniture, sheds, pergolas and play equipment, Matt has built a reputation for taking the stress out of flat pack assembly.
The business also offers a specialist IKEA assembly service, helping customers with everything from simple furniture builds through to complex PAX wardrobe installations and home office projects.
What really sets Flat Pack Rescue apart is Matt himself.
Anyone who has met him knows he has a huge personality, a fantastic sense of humour and an endless supply of cheeky innuendo. At the same time, he is incredibly professional, reliable and passionate about helping customers.
The challenge was creating a website that balanced all of those qualities while still remaining professional, trustworthy and search engine friendly.
The Solution
Working closely with Matt, we designed and built a completely new seven-page WordPress website that reflects both the business and the man behind it.
The new website includes:
• Home Page
• About Page
• Services Page with anchor navigation
• Gallery Page
• Testimonials Page
• Request a Quote Page
• Contact Page
The structure was designed to make it easy for visitors to quickly find the information they need while also encouraging enquiries and quote requests.
We also focused heavily on mobile usability, ensuring customers could browse services and contact Matt easily from any device.

Bringing Matt’s Personality to Life
One of the most important goals of the project was making sure the website felt like Matt.
Many service websites can feel quite corporate and forgettable. We wanted visitors to instantly understand who they would be dealing with and why so many customers recommend Flat Pack Rescue.
A particular highlight was incorporating Matt’s wife, affectionately known as “Mrs Rescue™”, into the website.
Anyone who knows Matt knows how much he adores her, so it felt only right that she became part of the brand story. Using a collection of bespoke computer-generated images featuring Matt and Mrs Rescue™, we were able to create a fun, memorable visual theme that runs throughout the website and helps tie everything together.
The result is a website that feels professional, approachable and unmistakably Flat Pack Rescue and, if you follow the guys on their Facebook page you will see for yourselves how they roll!
Showcasing an Outstanding Reputation
Flat Pack Rescue has built an exceptional reputation over many years, with a huge number of five-star reviews from happy customers.
The new website places those reviews front and centre, helping prospective customers quickly see the quality of service they can expect.
Combined with a dedicated gallery showcasing completed projects, visitors can clearly see the experience, workmanship and attention to detail that Matt brings to every job.
The Result
This Flat Pack Rescue Website Rebuild was about much more than updating an old website. Through professional WordPress Website Design, we were able to create a site that reflects Matt’s experience, showcases his fantastic reputation and gives customers a much clearer way to learn about his services and request a quote online.
As a Portfolio Website Design project, the focus was on making it easy for visitors to view completed work, read genuine customer reviews and quickly find the information they need before getting in touch.
The finished website provides Flat Pack Rescue with a modern online presence that reflects the quality of the business today while supporting future growth.
The site is fully responsive, search engine friendly, easy to update and designed around the customer journey.
Most importantly, it successfully captures what makes Flat Pack Rescue different: outstanding workmanship, exceptional customer service and the larger-than-life personality of Matt himself.
